Everything that glitters ain't gold. My mother made sure that my brothers and I understood that the finer things didn’t mean nothing. I knew she was drilling it into our heads because she never wanted us to feel bad for not having, I guess in a sense it worked. As long as we had each other we had everything we needed and that's what she preached, we live by that. Now that I'm older and I'm blessed with the things I didn't have at first, the more I understand, my mother never told me wrong. This money really doesn't mean shit.
